Strong/Simplex is the oldest existing name in film projection systems, dating back to its initial development in 1907. Legendary products include the Simplex Regular (1907), the Standard (1916), the Super (1928), the E-7 (1937), the Simplex XL (1949) and other products. The Simplex Projector Company was purchased by Ballantyne of Omaha / Strong International in 1983, when all manufacturing was relocated to the company's Omaha, Nebraska plant in the heartland of the US.  

The tradition of quality and excellence continues today with the modern era Simplex 35 Projectors manufactured by Strong International.

Xenon

Xenon lamps from LTI lead the way in providing high-technology solutions to both the entertainment and the digital video projection markets. Metal Halide

Metal halide lamps from LTI are used to illuminate concerts, large venue events, and major motion picture productions worldwide. Our lamps lead the way in providing light where it is needed most. Available in wattages ranging from 575 to 18,000 watts, LTI’s metal halide lamps offer high luminous efficacy and a daylight color temperature of 6000 degrees K. They are designed for AC operation and are available in both single-ended and double-ended versions.

Mercury-Xenon

LTI’s mercury xenon lamps are essential for the flat panel fabrication and printed circuit board exposure processes. The mercury that is added to the lamps results in spectral energy in the ultraviolet region, which is vital to the exposure curing process. LTI’s mercury xenon lamps are available in wattages ranging from 1,000 to 8,000 watts and are specifically designed for DC operation.
